Walnut update!!
Now it’s been 3 years sense we seeded a record amount of true black American walnut and we got almost 400 seedlings
Some of them have been sold too others growers but all the rest have been planted in our future walnut forest of about 1 acre
In 10-15 years we hope to harvest the first ones

Finally got around too clean of the husk and a quick rinse to get them sort of clean before seeding.
It’s not a sort of extreme gardening but walnuts need to have a cold spell before germinating. Sand or seeding soil is the best and in the spring the rot and then the leafs start emerging ”
