
Garlic mustard finally in season
One of my favorite wild plants too forage for is now ready for a first picking. You can harvest the whole plant root and all but I prefer to grow the population and only harvest the leafy bit. It looks very unsuspecting but packs a punch with a big hit of garlic. Perfect for a green pesto or raw in a salad, it’s available for our chef’s and on our farmer’s market
