Sweden’s most endangered breed
The Svensk pälskanin is almost gone despite being a recognized breed for almost a 100 year and part of the Swedish governments responsible to protect. It’s number off breeding stock is less then a hundred probably fewer than fifty.
When we first learned about the dire conditions for this breed we got our first ones for almost 8 years ago and also started the FB group for the breed witch today is the main platform to connect conservationists and people who want to help save this unique breed. We are especially happy to welcome two new girls to the farm that will help too bring the breed back from the brink of extinction. Hopefully we can compensate last year tragedy when one of our breeding males got stolen probably by animal rights activists last year.
