So many ducks

You sometimes forget how many ducks we have or ate least until you start sorting them. All animals on the farm are born here, some years you have a lot of chickens other years a lot of ducks. This is definitely a duck year with 75 new females adding to the main flock. All purebred Blekingeducks the most original of our Swedish duck breeds and with our flock off several hundred individuals one step closer to be saved. But not all ducklings hatched are female and u only need a few males to serve several females we have more males then we need. All good because duck is probably my favorite animal to eat, if you like to try some of the best duck Sweden have to offer you can order them directly from us during the autumn. We only sell whole birds with heads, feat and all the good stuff heart and liver, all and all around 2 kg per bird.
