Artichoke success!
Jackpot this year with our seeds of a new artichoke variety that we are testing, they look really small right now but in a few months they are ready too harvest on.

Artichoke are related too the weeds in our garden being a thistle but they lack the ability to send our runners but instead forming a large plant over time if you have a hardy variety.

They like a rich and well moist soil the best and will have a big crop then but they tolerate a lot of conditions but will produce less artichoke then and smaller
