European Viper
Turn on the audio for this one, today I ran in to a viper sunbathing on the stone wall when I was fixing the last for moving out cows out to Ire nature reserve.
When I was filming I missed what the snake was doing and that is warning me, the hissing sound is the snake telling me to stay away but I didn’t hear until I watched the clip.
I haven’t seen a viper for years so extra fun to see a big fat one today also a fairly dark individual, the viper is Sweden’s only venomous snake and I even though fatalities in humans is rare it’s best too back off and give the snake the chance to get away.
