They have been named!

They have been named!
Big thanks for all your suggestions on what names too give our two new heifers born a bit unexpected at the open air museum Kulturens Östarp.
The names that stood out is the curtesy of Georg J:son Karlin the man that founded Östarp 1922.
It is special that his legacy of creating a safe haven for local heritage breeds lives on now almost a hundred years later and going strong, the names are Rössa 171 and Grima 172 both names on cows living on Östarp a century ago

First ginger

First harvest of organic Swedish ginger for our farmers market pickup this week.
You can eat everything and we supply it fresh with leaves and roots on the stem. It’s perfect for eating or saving the plant putting it in a pot in your window. The only thing we use to grow these is compost from our garden, cows and chickens together with a nice layer of mulch in the form of silage.
Ginger really like the heat so this summer has been perfect for them.
Don’t hold back of u want too order last years batch disappeared quickly

I got some big news for you!

My sister called me up the other day saying she seen me on a tv @tv4 trailer for up and coming shows this fall.
I bursting too tell you more but.. I can’t not just yet

What I can tell you is that I’m not doing this on my own, by my side I have Sara Bäckmo and we have had so much fun on this projekt together with pushing the limit of what I thought it was possible, spending so much time with Sara has really influence this year’s season in the garden with a lot more straw and mulch showing.
We are far from done with filming so for now not even we know where this will end.
